Fred Meyer ad.
Prompt: Homosyntaxism. Choose a phrase and use only that syntax pattern within the poem. My phrase was from a Fred Meyer ad: “FREE item of equal or lesser value,” regarding the sale of Kit-Ktas, Hershey’s bars, and Reese’s ppeanut butter cups (Select Varieties, 1.2-2.5 oz. Standard Bars; offer potentially valid only at Fairbanks West and Fairbanks East Fred Meyers).
Anyway, the pattern was: (adj) (noun) (preposition) (adjective) (conjunction) (adjective) (noun). I also preserved the first word’s capitalization as it appeared in the original Fred Meyer ad. Two of the words from the poem are from the Fred Meyer ad. Can you guess them?
