The Melting Snowball. Start with a word which has X number of letters. The next should have X-1 number of letters, the third word X-2 letters, and so on. I wanted to use words in order as I found them in the text, for extra challenge. And for the fun of it, and in the spirit of the prompt, I found the word in reverse order as well. For example, “a” was found near the end of the article, “to” found further up but before “who,” etc . The words “a” through “immediately” were found in the Richardson article, and the first two (the longest) found in the Morrow article.
I’d like to take a moment to note how fitting this prompt name / concept is in relation to what is happening in Fairbanks right now.
